Johnny Moran – Accredited EMDR Europe Consultant & Supervisor for Adults, Adolescents & Children.  EMDR Institute Accredited Training Facilitator.

H.Dip, MA, Johnny is an Accredited Supervisor and Integrative Psychotherapist  of IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy) IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and ICP (Irish Council for Psychotherapy).   He is an Autism Reframe Therapist, Jungian Sandplay Therapist.  Johnny is also a Board certified hypnotist and certified instructor with NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists).

Johnny Moran, Clinical Director of Open Minds Centre http://www.openmindscentre.ie a clinic specialising in treatment of Trauma, Complex Trauma, Single Incident Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD) and their related conditions for adults, adolescents and children.  Johnny is an accredited EMDR Europe Trauma consultant & supervisor for Adults, Adolescents and Children, an accredited psychotherapist with IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanist and Integrative Psychotherapists), IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and ICP (Irish Council of Psychotherapy).  He is also an Autism Reframe Therapist and has trained as a Jungian Sandplay Therapist.

Johnny is national co-ordinator for Trauma Response Network Ireland http://www.trnireland.ie  and serves on the boards of Trauma Aid Europe and EMDR Ireland National Association. He is a board certified hypnotist and certified instructor with NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists).

Johnny combines his specialist trauma treatment, resourcing, resilience building skills, his qualifications and training in EMDR, psychotherapy, CBT, hypnotherapy and Sports Psychology with his professional qualifications and former business background experiences.

Johnny also provides a range of support services to assist individuals – high performance sports, performance artists including sports teams, groups and employers / management teams to enhance performance. This includes individual and group business coaching sessions. He also provides supporting services for individual sports people including athletes, GAA footballers, golfers, equestrian performers and related teams from a range of sports to access and maintain ideal performance states.  Johnny created and developed MOR Wins© Programme specifically to assist individuals and teams in enhancing sports performance

Johnny’s psychotherapeutic practice approach as humanistic integrative is rooted in psychodynamic and phenomological which simply means working through the here and now with flexibility, imagination and is informed by techniques and philosophy’s drawn from and including Existential, Gestalt, CBT, Hakomi, EMDR, hypnotherapy.

The Humanistic Person Centred Integrative approach believes that all individuals are unique following their own path and experience. People know deep down their answers, own best choices for their best interests. His underlying approach is informed by the belief that People possess the knowledge, resources and answers within them they but need holding, guidance, further resourcing and supports to fully access and utilise them.

Johnny’s business background, experience and professional qualifications includes Qualified Accountant (1989), Qualified Tax Consultant (1991), Registered Auditor (1989 to 2000), Qualified Arbitrator including 10 years in public practice with more than 30 years’ commercial experience in owning, operating, managing, consulting various businesses gives him unique insight and wide appreciation of many challenges and realities people face.
